just looking up as I do many nights with my astro kid and thought that moon is big enough to shoot with my 500mm lens and the 1.7 TC making it 850mm

We were looking forward to the transit of Venus but the clouds were in the way in philly…

We have the solar filter for safe viewing and I thought while doing this shot that it would fit this lens for shooting images of the sun.
