The big day has come… Alex with his brother Sam and cousins.

Beautiful Blooms did the Decor at the Sofitel. I really enjoy when I get to be at the Sofitel Philadelphia with Melody and the team. They did such a nice job for Sam’s Bar Mitzvah in 2005 their choice for Alex was clear.

It was so much fun.

One of my favorite places to work is Congress Hall in Cape May NJ. It is just a different place to have a wedding.
The owners of Congress Hall have a new hotel in Atlantic City, NJ. I was invited to a hard-hat preview of the Hotel.

the Chelsea!
It is right next to the boardwalk in Atlantic City. I can’t wait to shoot a wedding here.

Here is the view from the 12th floor Chelsea Luxe suites.

Love the cool retro look of the rooms.

Two Stephen Starr resturants Teplitzky’s and Chelsea Prime, Saltwater pool, game room, spa’s and plenty of rooms will make this a great spot to bring all of your friends for the weekend.

the view looking west from one of the Chelsea Luxe suites.

the huge Chelsea sign was on the street waiting to be installed.

the view looking North from the Lifeguard station in front of the hotel.

Arrival of the bedding. Guests are in for a treat.
I can’t wait…

I’m a CocaCola junkie. I love it. I drink too much of it.

I saw these cool new cans at the local purveyor of adult carbonated beverages.
I spotted a new All Aluminium Can in the classic contour bottle shape. This looks like the shrink wrapped glass bottle till it is in your hand.
Way cool and they work so good at keeping the contents tasty cold till they are gone…

The top has a screw cap with some plastic with the threads on it. You can see where the aluminium inside is flared out over the plastic.
I love cool design.

Last week was my first National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) meeting. Tim Sudall from Video One and Steve Wernick from Videocassion both great Video Producers have been bugging me for years to join and attend NACE meetings. I get to work in some great venues in the tri-state area but don’t alway keep in touch with them. This is just one way to keep in touch and also network with new people. I did see some of my favorite friends Amy Pelz and Jennifer O’Neil from The Manor House at Commonwealth National Golf Club.
The evening was fun and the Pheonixville Country Club was awesome. Dawn Gannon and the crew at the club were on tonite. The Dinner was incredible. The club is in a beautiful old building that feels nice and new on the inside. A great place for a party. They also have a 9 hole golf course considered one of the best in the nation.

Julia, is one of my favorite party coordinators. I have done some great events with her over the past years.
I did not want to miss this one. She called me so excited a few months ago to tell me she was adopting a beautiful baby boy.
Anyway the adoption was finalized with a court proceeding and Elijah slept thru most of it…

Elijah ready to leave for the courthouse.
What a fun day.

Sunny was excited too…

Oh yeah they had cake too…

I have been having a long week with all the funeral planning and just getting used to all of this. I would just like to thank all the wonderful friends, family and clients that have sent cards, notes, food, flowers and just their prayers and thoughts for me and my family.
It was so nice to see everyone and to know you were thinking of us…
I can’t thank you all enough…

My dad michael has been sick for a few months and we have had a lot of time together to and from the Hospital and home. The time was nice to have to talk with dad about his life. He was so proud of his kids and grandkids. We did have a wonderful Christmas this year with all of his family surrounding him. The way he always loved it.
Feb 1st is also my late Aunt Lois’s birthday and Mom swears she came for him today. Lois got me my first real camera so it’s kinda her fault I don’t have a real job…

We will miss him dearly…
